Bullies and my pink Puma rubber shoes

Bullies come in all forms and sizes. And ages.

I bought this pair of Puma rubber shoes at a DFO superstore in Melbourne, Australia for only AUD 30 last year. Yes. It was on sale. 70% off.

While I was at Legaspi Active Park a few days ago, 2 kids (boys) who were playing there approached me and took notice of my rubber shoes. "Why is his shoes pink?", one of them said and they both started giggling. I knew where that was gonna lead to so I just chose to ignore them and focused on finishing my routine instead. I'm used to this (people making fun of me because I'm different, etc.), I told myself. But then this one guy stepped forward and spoke to those kids. "Can you just go away?", he told them.

When I finished, I stood up and told the guy the that it's fine and that I was used to it already. But deep inside I felt happy that there's still a guy in this world who stood up for me and made me feel safe to be with his company. Not that I needed anyone to stand up or fight for me, of course. I know I have a strong personality and I also know how to protect myself. But as time went by, I somehow learned to ignore stuff like this and just moved on with my life. Like I always say, I just LIVE.

But to that guy, you know who you are, I just wanna say...thank you. I'm happy to have you as my friend.

The many pretty faces of Miss Costa Rica (Miss Universe 2016)

Last Thursday was the preliminaries for the 2016 Miss Universe and my friend was lucky enough to be there and watch it live.

He told me that Miss Costa Rica Carolina Rodriguez Duran did really well during that event. And also even on the day before when she had an interview with former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres (We love her!), he said that Carolina was fantastic and that Dayanara enjoyed talking to her as well. That's a good sign, isn't it? Teehee!

Anyhow, without further adieu, lemme just share with you some photos that I got showing the many pretty faces of the confidently beautiful with a heart Miss Costa Rica Carolina Rodriguez Duran.

She looks stunning in this gown.
OLA! Teehee!
Her hair is like my ultimate "hair goals" as of the moment.
Perfect stance.
Love how "flowy" that gown kinda looks.
And now, for the swimsuit portion....
My ultimate "balik alindog goals" for 2017.
And she has abs! Hihi!
She's like the perfect ambassador for promoting good health and nutrition and for being physically fit.
I'm pretty sure Carolina is already a celebrity in Costa Rica but should she decide to stay here in the Philippines for a little bit, I'm positive that she'll also make a mark here.
Oh! And look...Miss Costa Rica is among the top 12 picks of this Facebook page. Awesome!

Now...the competition is on Monday already and the voting period closes today. As in today!!! So make your vote count. Vote for both Miss Philippines and Miss Costa Rica! Because I did. Ahihihi!

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
