Choosing between the boyish-looking Tony Fabian's "Sweet Musk" and "Fresh Musk"

But when it comes to Tony Fabian, I definitely needn't think twice anymore. I'd choose him in a jiffy over anyone else. CHOZ!

Anyhow, lemme introduce to you these two scents by Tony Fabian. I'm not much of a perfume person but I feel like I wanna try this Sweet Musk over here. Just because I'm sweet, too. LOLZ!

NOTE: Please concentrate on the perfumes. Teehee!

"Sweet Musk is a new unisex sweet, creamy and powerful yet subtle fragrance that would linger throughout the day."
I was not able to get a description of the Fresh Musk but I believe this is the more popular one. Again, please concentrate on the perfume, ok? It's the perfume that I'm featuring here, not anything else.
But, ok, fine. I still couldn't get enough of Tony Fabian actually. He's just so cute! I mean...look at him.
Doesn't he remind you of your high school or college crush back in the day?
Ahihihihi! Definitely!

For orders, like Fragrance Bomb on Facebook or click here.

I felt discriminated at Nick's Seafood Restaurant (Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia)

Before we proceed to the bad part, lemme first show you the beautiful Darling Harbour at night.

My friend took me here one time because she wanted me to see Darling Harbour at night. She said it's magnificent and, damn, she wasn't wrong.

My photos probably are not giving this beautiful place any justice. Sorry.
The night was a bit cold and there were a number of people around but it wasn't at all that crowded. It was just right. There were some couples walking around the area, too. One day, I'll go back here...with a boyfriend. CHOZ!
I also told my friend that I love seafood so much that's why she took me here. She suggested we try Nick's Seafood Restaurant and so we did.
I knew something was already wrong the moment we got there. We weren't attended to right away even though there weren't that much people inside, yet. We waited for someone to show us our table and when no one did, I just approached one vacant table and sat there. My friend told me that it was still a bit early for dinner that's why people hadn't started to come in yet.
We asked for the menu and it was immediately given to us. The waiter, a guy who seemed like in his late 30's or early 40's, told us to just call him when we're ready to order and then he sped off. My friend and I looked at each other and I was like, "Maybe he's busy." The moment I opened the menu, I already knew what I wanted: their seafood pasta. My friend, on the other hand, picked a fish I couldn't remember what. LOLZ! Perhaps a dory.
This is my friend, by the way. Teehee!
Moments later, when we were ready to give our orders, we saw again that same guy assisting a "rich-looking white couple" to their table. He also helped the guy take off his jacket too. He gave them the menus and somewhat explained to them what was inside. He was all "chummy-chums" with them, something that he wasn't when he was with us. You know what I mean.
And that was my pasta. It didn't look nice but it tasted good enough. Or maybe I just kinda already lost my appetite when I saw how that guy treated that other couple versus how he treated us. I looked at my friend and she immediately knew what I was gonna say. She said that she also felt it and that she's used to it. But she assured me that not all Aussies are like him, something that I could also vouch for. I once dated an Aussie guy before. Teehee!

But deep inside I was like, "Gago, 'tong lalaking 'to, ah. Mayaman ako sa Pinas. Ulol."

Just kidding! LOLZ!

Anyway, that's all for now.

Robot dog is a girl's best friend - “A.R.C.H.I.E.” in cinemas June 7

Known for the iconic classic blockbuster “Back to the Future” franchise, Michael J. Fox is back in the modern-day comedy adventure movie “A.R.C.H.I.E. (Artificial Robotronic Canine Hyper-Intelligence Experiment).”

Directed by Robin Dunne and inspired by classic endearing movies such as “Iron Giant,” “Short Circuit” and “Air Bud,” “Archie” is an enchanting tale about a young girl named Isabel (Sarah Desjardins) who makes friends with a robotic dog that possesses many special abilities. Archie is initially owned and created by world-renowned roboticist Brooke Benton (Katharine Isabelle) to help those in need. Though he looks like a normal dog, he is anything but. He can talk. He can run at blinding speed. He’s got super strength and x-ray vision. On the news of her research program being shut down by the military, Brooke helps Archie escape in the hopes of finding a family to care for him.

As Isabel and Archie’s paths connect, they find a bond and become fast friends helping out and relying on each other for company. Things are going well for both Isabel and Archie until a con artist named Hugh (Fred Ewanuick) tries to steal Archie for his own evil plans.

“Archie” explores the universal themes on the power of friendship, the importance of being true to one’s self, and what it means to belong. This humorous yet heartfelt story also explores themes of putting aside one’s own ambitions to do the right thing.

“Archie” opens June 7 in cinemas from CrystalSky Multimedia.

Daniel Ekegren is now the most handsome Filipino male model for me ♥♥♥

photos from Seven Barretto/Facebook/Instagram

Before anything else, I would just like to say that these photos are really magnificent! The last time I've seen something like this was with a similar fashion shoot that Mark Alvarez, one of my favorite photographers, did in the past.

Now going back....

Everyone, meet Daniel Ekegren.

He's a Filipino-Swedish male model who was based here in Manila for a short while at the start of this year but unfortunately, while I'm writing this, he's probably already en route back to Sweden. But he'll still be back this coming October, a month after my birthday.

I first met him during the Bench Fashion Show at the Bench Tower last March.

Well, I actually initially had a chance encounter with him even before the show when I was on the elevator going down to the show's venue. A guy wearing a jacket and a backpack entered my elevator. He was wearing a cap so I couldn't quite see his face. At first I thought he was Tanner Mata (LOLZ!) so deep inside I was like contemplating as to whether or not I should ask for a selfie with him. I've been running some lines on my head on how to talk to him.

"Hi, are you Tanner? Can I have a pissshhhuuuurrrrr with you?" LOLZ! CHOZ!

And then I remembered that Tanner is endorsing Penshoppe. Not Bench.

Anyhow, if you can still remember, I once mentioned that Johannes Rissler is the most handsome Filipino male model in Manila for me. That was last March.

But, I'm very sorry, Johannes, I've just had a change of heart. I'm really sorry.

I'm now declaring Daniel Ekegren as the most handsome Filipino male model in Manila for VinVin.

For the next 3 hours. Only for the next 3 hours because his flight going to Sweden is at midnight tonight so technically he's not gonna be in Manila anymore. LOLZ!

But, ok, maybe even after that. He'll still remain as the most handsome male model for me because...gahhhhhddddd....he's just really very  handsome! And lemme show you why....

Oh, look at him. He's like a puppy. Look at those puppy eyes. Cutesie patootsie. I so hate you right now, Daniel. You're so cute here.
And then the puppy turned around and all of a sudden he became Mr. Christian Grey. I'm biting my lower lip now.
I think we need to zoom in this photo....
There. Daniel probably has the most perfectly shaped eyebrows that I've ever seen in any male model to date. Teehee!
And his jawline, his chin, his nose...they all shout perfection!
Oh, dear God, I think I'm in love again. Teehee!
Thank you Seven Barretto for capturing these wonderful photos of the very handsome Daniel Ekegren. I can't even....

That's all for now. But, rest assured that this won't be the last time that I'll be blogging about Daniel.

I'll most probably be bombarding my blog with tons of Daniel Ekegren's photos anytime soon. Teehee!

In the meantime, I'd like to invite you guys to follow Daniel on Instagram @danieleken4.

Safe travels, Daniel! See you when I see you. ♥♥♥

My first "Bambike" experience in Intramuros (plus meeting a cute guy)

My first "Bambike" experience in Intramuros was also my very first experience in riding a bike. I never learned how to ride a bike before when I was a kid and I never even rode one. That's why I was so more than surprised on that one Saturday afternoon when I had my first "Bambike" experience.

I didn't know that you could actually learn how to ride a bike in a matter of minutes!

Or maybe it's also just part of being an adult. The older you get, the quicker it is for you to learn those things that you were supposed to have already learned when you were still a kid. LOLZ!

I'm a late bloomer. I know.

Anyhow, lemme just share with you some photos that I took when I went to Intramuros on a humid Saturday afternoon to try out "Bambike." And I'm telling you...I had so much fun! I also met a cute guy. CHOZ!

Bambike is located at Casa Manila in Intramuros while the Bambike Ecotours that I had is located at Plaza San Luis Complex, Real St. cor. General Luna St. I'm not really sure about the spatial location of these two but I believe they're in the same vicinity. LOLZ!
The whole place itself is actually a museum.
I decided to check out the area first before I challenged myself to go biking for the very first time afterwards. I loved how friendly the people there were to all of their guests.
I like visiting old places because they have this kinda history in them. Kinda eerie but I love revisiting the past from time to time. See that? This so reminded me of the Spanish era. I so loved it.
And this was the bike that I used. It has a bamboo frame, thus, I believe, the name "Bambike."
Our first stop was an old historic church nearby.
Foreigners as well as some locals were my companions during that afternoon.
They all knew how to ride a bike.
Except for me.
I was always almost left behind but good thing that there were 2 other guides aside from the main tour guide that was leading our tour so I still felt really safe.
Just a humid Saturday afternoon to enjoy nature.
And the beauty of the walled city of Manila, Intramuros.
As well as the couples doing PDA here and there.
And this golf course over here.
And that cute German guy over there (on the left). LOL. Our tour guide is the one wearing a wooden hat (a salakot I guess?).
I wouldn't mind going back to Intramuros again someday.
That building over there (beside Mapua) is a pivotal location in Intramuros and in the entire Manila. Our tour guide said that if you go on the rooftop, you'll get to see a perfect 360-degree view of he entire Manila. Sans the photobomber building near the Rizal Shrine probably.
The floors were wet.
I believe that's the Comelec building in Manila?
And this one over here is the iconic Manila Cathedral.
It was my first time to go there so I went inside to pray and make a wish. I wished for true love and a a Caucasian boyfriend. Serious.
But I guess God already answered my prayer right away because he showed me that guy over there wearing a black top, a pair of black shorts and neon green rubber shoes. The sad thing about this, though, is that I never got to see him again. *sigh*
Nonetheless, I had so much fun! I recommend this "Bambike" tour to anyone who wants to experience a combination of historical, cultural immersion with the thrill of riding a bike with a bamboo frame!

BAMBIKE (Bamb EcoLogical Technology Inc.) is a socio-ecological enterprise that hand-makes bamboo bicycles with fair-trade labor and sustainable building practices. Our Bambike builders come from Gawad Kalinga, a Philippine based community development organization for the poor, working to bring an end to poverty. We are also working on a bamboo nursery for reforestation and have plans for a reef rehabilitation project. Bambike is a company that is interested in helping out people and the planet, dedicated to social and environmental stewardship. Our goal is to do better business and to make the greenest bikes on the planet.

Bambike Ecotours Intramuros is an exciting and educational ecotourism activity in the heart of Manila’s old walled city of Intramuros. Guests will be riding through the streets on bamboo bikes that have been handmade by Gawad Kalinga villagers here in the Philippines. Tourists will be led around the area, getting to cover more ground than if on a walking tour and having a more interesting experience than if going around on a calesa. This ecotour will both teach visitors about Philippine history and make them feel like kids again.

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
