My one-word review for "MAGIC MIKE XXL"

I seldom (or close to never) write movie reviews on my blog anymore, but for the love of "Magic Mike XXL...."

Let's do this!!!

"Magic Mike XXL" was very different than the first movie. I loved the laid back, comedic tone of Magic Mike XXL. The first movie was somewhat a little serious.

The first 2/3 of the film was almost all dialogue, showing the crazy, funny antics of the characters. There were some enjoyable moments, and there were some monotonous, dragging ones. But the last part was really the bomb! It's like the movie started with a very subtle note and then all of a sudden it just exploded with immense amounts of visual entertainment. I loved how the cameras were able to capture each and every "important" angle allowing us, the moviegoers, to imagine like as if we were there at the same time and at the same place as the male entertainers were doing their "thing."

I also truly appreciated how this movie also gave focus on how talented an actor and performer Matt Bomer really is. Matt Bomer fans all over the world (myself included) were definitely treated with palatable exposures of the actor. In addition, Joe Manganiello was also surprisingly funny, proving that he's not just some Hollywood beefcake. Jada Pinkett Smith and Elizabeth Banks were also somehow able to give some sizzling flavor to the movie despite their minimal exposures. And Channing Tatum...well....his mike still got some magic indeed!

The story, for me, was not stitched properly but that can really easily be overlooked. As in. Swear. Super. The movie as a whole was able to "deliver" and for me that's what's really important. I'm just being true! It wouldn't disappoint its target audience, its target market. I should know because I also somehow belong to that market. Teehee!

I guess regardless if one will go see the movie with or without high expectations, it won't matter at all. The level of entertainment was just really quite intense. It didn't fail to tickle my senses, satisfy my "craving", quench my "thirst" and titillate the inner goddesses residing within me.

I probably wouldn't recommend it as a "date movie", though, so, girls and gays, you'll probably be better off watching it amongst yourselves. To the guys, well, you can take the risk. But don't say that I didn't warn you.

If I could give a one-word review for "Magic Mike XXL", it would be this....

"Angsharrrap!" (English translation: "Yummy!") Hihihi!

Opening across the Philippines on July 15, “Magic Mike XXL” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company.

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
