Expect an eargasmic experience at the Exception Music Festival!

(Manila, Philippines) Hold on to your eardrums—the country’s biggest outdoor dance music festival is about to blow you away!

The Philippines’ leading party provocateur Bigfish presents the first-ever Exception Music Festival, happening on November 24, 2012, 4PM at Bonifacio Global City. With a total of 27 acts set to seize the stage, Exception is the country’s most massive outdoor dance music gathering to date. Grammy-nominated American beatmaster BT leads the pack of performers, which includes some of the hottest foreign and local DJs and bands.

This major musical congregation will house three stages to accommodate its spectacular lineup. The Freedom Music-sponsored main stage will boast both icons and up-and-comers in the international EDM scene, including BT; UK-based electro pros Andy Moor, James Zabiela, and Mat Zo; Dutch trance duo W&W; and energetic Australian act Tydi. Also hitting the main stage are local electronic music stalwarts Martin Pulgar, Marie Garcia, and Bigfish resident DJ John Paul Lee.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Sound tent will be a hotbed of house music awesomeness as it plays host to Switzerland-based Italian maestro EDX, Hed Kandi’s resident DJ Stuart Ojelay and saxophonist Aimee Jay, as well as the country’s own formidable mixmasters Alinep, Pav Parotte, Jack Stone, Marc Naval, Manolet Santos, Karl Ty, and Bigfish resident DJ Chris Raeuber.

At Exception, there’s even a stage to offer festival-goers a full band experience! Head to the live stage to catch some of the country’s biggest bands, such as Pinoy alternative rockers Parokya ni Edgar, Sandwich, 6 Cycle Mind, and Imago; dance-punk five-piece Pedicab; dancetronica trio Techy Romantics; plus a teamup between DJ Elmer Dado and percussionists Gruppo Tribale.

Festival-goers are free to hop from stage to stage and soak in the spectrum of sounds on display—from high-flying trance to pulse-pounding house to hard-hitting rock. Team Exception or EMF will pull out all the stops to make the experience as reveler-friendly as possible: credit card payments will be accepted, an ATM will be on the premises, cell phone charging stations will keep guests connected, food and drinks booths with several international food brands to satisfy your cravings will be available throughout the sonic spectacle.

Festival merchandise will be available for sale to let you bring home more than great memories. Make sure to come in comfy clothes so you can let loose and enjoy this EDM extravaganza to the hilt!

Tickets are on sale for only P1,275 until November 22. From November 23 onwards they will be sold at P2,625. VIP tickets are priced at P3,675 until November 22, and will be priced at P4,725 from November 2 until November 24. For your VIP tables you can reserve through 09218380133 / 09179318444.

Mission

Pushing the EDM scene and making the philippines home for the biggest and most attended dance music Festivals around Asia.

Description

Bigfish was born out of passion—a passion for dance music and its power to submerge you in a range of emotions, to awaken your suppressed energies, to unite a room full of strangers into one happy, heaving, hollering mass.

When Bigfish came to life before the turn of the century, the idea of superstar DJs spinning in branded parties in Manila was all but a fantasy. Sure, there were club events here and there, but none stemmed from any real, dedicated organization, nor any all-consuming desire to propagate the testament of dance. But Manila was ready for a revolution, and it took a single, struggling neophyte dance outfit to spark it. By bringing in the hottest talents the world had to offer, Bigfish kept the country up to speed with the rest of the global dance scene, thereby changing the face of clubbing in the Philippines.

In 2000, Team Bigfish brought in mammoth club brand Cream for a one-night gig and were floored by the white-hot reception as party-loving Pinoys rushed to the Cream Halloween Ball in droves. Two years later, Chicane’s Manila visit set a new record for Bigfish, bringing out unprecedented numbers of partyphiles all eager to hear the electronic music legend spin in the flesh. Pretty soon, more and more world-renowned DJs and club brands were making a pitstop at these humble shores: Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Fierce Angels, Housexy, Pacha, Defected in the House, Global Underground, Fierce Angels, Amnesia Ibiza, and Space Ibiza.

Bigfish had become the channel through which we could claim a place in the universal club community, and through which they, too, could say howdy to us.

 Mwah!

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
