Catch Taiwanese-American singing sensation Anthony Neely in Sundown Festival 2012

November 16, 2012

Anthony Neely (倪安东) is a Taiwanese-American Mandopop singing sensation who began his music career as a participant in the fifth season of Taiwan’s popular reality singing competition, One Million Star. His outstanding performances saw him securing full marks on three occasions. Most notably, his acoustic rendition of Damien Rice’s The Blower’s Daughter impressed the judges so much that they awarded him a total of thirty-three out of a possible twenty-five marks, a first in the competition’s history.

Neely signed on with HIM International Music in 2009 and released his debut album Lesson One in November 2010. It featured his cover of The Blower’s Daughter and spawned popular singles such as Sorry That I Loved You and Nightmares. The album debuted at second place on both the G-Music and Five Music album sales charts in Taiwan following its launch. His latest album Wake Up was released in February this year and includes the track You Are My Baby from the movie “The Soul of the Bread” (爱的面包魂), which Neely co-starred in.

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
