"Wrath of the Titans" (Feel the wrath this coming March 2012)

January 7, 2012

I was just watching some clips of Sam Worthington online (can't get enough of 'em Aussies) when I saw this.

"Wrath of the Titans" this coming March 30th! I'm just so....EXCITED!

It has been...what....almost 2 years? Since the release of "Clash of the Titans."

That was kinda like Sam's year (2009-2010) or moment: from Terminator Salvation to Avatar to Clash of the Titans. And now...he's back!!!

I love Sam Worthington. Teehee!

A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Sam Worthington) - the demigod son of Zeus (Liam Neeson) - is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius.

Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumverate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.

Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), switch loyalties and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth.

Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Watch the trailer below. It's...superb! I'm just kinda not into Sam's hairdo here, though. Well...it has been 10 years, anyway (as what the plot suggests).

WRATH OF THE TITANS in theaters March 30th!

Excitement much!

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
