Why I love Cafe Mary Grace

photo from Mary Grace Cafe

October 25, 2011

The main reason why I love Cafe Mary Grace is because of its very cozy and homey ambiance.

Feels like home!

I had a some sort of back-to-back Cafe Mary Grace experience in Greenbelt 2 last week. The first one was last Tuesday and the second one was just last Friday.

Last Tuesday....

I was with my friend, Bella. We just came from a quite undesirable experience in Prive at The Fort Strip. I needed some comfort food at that time, so, I invited Bella to go to Cafe Mary Grace.

I had that very lovely Cheese Roll up there.

And she had this Tiramisu.

Of course, I also had my personal favorite...Apple and Cinnamon Honey Homemade Iced Tea. Swear...do not leave Cafe Mary Grace without trying out this beverage. Take it from me. CHOZ! I was able to influence Bella to try this out as well.

The taste of the apple and the cinnamon, and, ok, the honey as well, is just very distinct from each other. You can still tell which is which.

I told you the place was really homey.

What I also love about this cafe is that there are personal dedication and thank you letters on their tables. It's just so fun to read them while waiting for your order.

That area over there looks like a real veranda. Or maybe it's really a veranda? But...it's a cafe? CHOZ!

Oh...I just love Cafe Mary Grace.

Next...last Friday night....

I was with my friends from my previous company. Angie, Anne, Match and Lian.

I already kinda forgot what the others ordered. What I had was Seafood Pasta (as expected). As for the rest...well....

Leek Saffron Cream with Fillet of Cream Dory (Watching your weight? Mary Grace suggests fillet of cream dory, fish that simply melts in the mouth atop linguini noodles covered with a light creamy sauce flavored with leeks and a hint of saffron).

I think this is Spicy Lemon Scampi (Pan-seared shrimps and linguini noodles get that lively and spicy kick from lemon, chili, and lots of garlic sauteed in extra virgin olive oil).

And this one was mine. Seafood Pasta (A medley of fresh clams, shrimp, squid, mussels, and cream dory lend their flavors to a tomato-based sauce enhanced with herbs, olives, and mushrooms).

Pasta Vongole (Fresh clams, minced garlic, extra-virgin olive oil, and white wine, simply delicious!).

Ok...picture picture!

If you just wanna chill out and have some good chat or catching up with your friends....

Cafe Mary Grace is the perfect venue for that. Swear. Their service was just exemplary. The food was beyond great. I couldn't ask for more!

And I just so love that couch over there. Teehee!

I'll definitely keep on coming back to Cafe Mary Grace. In just one week...I had 2 visits already!

Ok. I'm gonna tell you one more thing. Another reason why I love Cafe Mary Grace in Greenbelt 2 is because there's this cute, tall waiter there. His name is Cassie. Ahihih! CHOZ!

Again...I love Cafe Mary Grace.

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
