My "Westlife Live in Manila! (The Gravity Tour)" experience - September 29, 2011, Araneta Coliseum, 8PM

October 1, 2011

Hello October!

What a better way to end my September...getting the chance to see Westlife LIVE in concert last Thursday night! Swear...it's really like a childhood dream come true. For 13 years I've been adoring these boys wholeheartedly and seeing them again in person last September 29th was just beyond surreal. SO HAPPY!!!

I only got a Lower Box ticket because the VIP ones were kinda not so good seats anymore. They were kinda far form the stage already while this remaining Lower Box ticket that I had was really near the stage.
See that? That's the stage. It's really that near!
I was already inside Araneta at around 7PM-ish. There still weren't that much people at that time. But, came past 8PM....
This was the crowd already! I swear...Araneta was really packed that night. As in.
There front acts were Filipino Star Magic artists: Young JV, Van Roxas and my crush Piero Vergara. And then...came past 9PM....
Sorry, the photos that I took weren't that crisp. I just used my BB.
The crowd really went wild when these boys went up the stage. Most especially when they started singing some of their hit songs like "World of Our Own," "Seasons in the Sun," to name a few.
They even sang their own rendition of some hit Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Coldplay songs. Their rendition of "Viva La Vida" made me shriek terribly. At the top of my lungs. Swear. Teehee!
Nicky was really very friendly to his fans. He shook hands with them from time to time. LUCKY FANS! How I wish I was also able to buy a front row seat ticket as well.
At the middle of the concert, they asked five of their fans to go up the stage. LUCKIEST FANS EVER! I was just so envious. Swear. As in. Mega. Super. LOLZ!
Nonetheless, I was still thankful. Thankful that my schedule permitted me to watch Westlife last Thursday night. And thankful that I got to see my childhood idols (and childhood crush, Mark Feehily, who's actually a "beki") in person again.
I felt a little bad that they didn't get to sing my two faves, "If I Let You Go" and "Moments." But, that's fine. It's more than fine. I guess they'll be back again here probably a few years from now. I HOPE. And I PRAY.

Thank you Westlife! And thank you, Dayly Entertainment! And, of course, thank you Lord for making my birthday month really special!

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
