First and foremost...Mario Maurer....

I wish we could do a movie someday. "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" (gay version). LOLZ! I'll be P'VinVin and you'll still be P'Shone. Teehee!

My imagination is just really this wild. Sorry.

About the movie (from Facebook):

A young and ordinary highschool girl has a big crush on a heartthrob senior at school. To make him see that she exists in his world, the girl tries to improve her physical looks. However, her crush seems not to pay any attention to her yet.

From Wikipedia:

The film is centered on a plain-looking, dark-skinned school girl named Nam (Fern Pimchanok Leuwisedpaiboon) who is secretly in love with an older Grade 10 guy named Shone (Mario Maurer). Shone is a photography enthusiast and a popular student in their school. However, he is often teased by some of his schoolmates because his father didn't score the penalty kick and made their province lose in a national football cup. But that doesn't change the fact that a lot of girls in their school are going crazy over him, including Nam. However, Nam is well aware that she is not the prettiest of the bunch, but she doesn't give up easily. With help from her close girl friends, Nam tries everything to make herself more beautiful and outstanding in school, hoping that Shone would like her someday.

Its feedbacks and reviews were also phenomenal (from Wikipedia).

The film got the highest impressions and positive reviews from the critics and the audiences. The film created in average budget. In Thailand, the film placed in 3rd position from its weekend gross which shown in almost hundred cinemas in Thailand, then an impressive up to 2nd place on the next weekend behind Kuan Mun Ho, the other two movies (including Toy Story 3) simultaneity piloted together with First Love drops to 3rd and 4th respectively. The film was maintained in 3rd place the next weekends and also maintain inside top 5 for 6 consecutive weeks, which got more impressive performance in the box office. The film withstands in the cinema nearly 10th week (until October 2010), which is one of the longest running movie in the cinemas in Thailand. In the end, the film got an excellent gross of $2,659,443, becoming 8th highest gross movie of 2011 (beating Prince of Persia, The Chronicles of Narnia, Inception, Step Up 3-D, Alice in Wonderland, Tron Legacy), and the second highest grossing local produced film in Thailand.

Beginning of 2011, the film was shown in the internet, some other countries got an interest to get the rights to broadcast or release the film. Since then, some audiences got also a high interest to watch the film in their countries. And because this is a film and almost 2-hour of run time, some other countries are willing to broadcast in a mini-series (cut into 5 parts, 30 minute run per day, around a whole 1 week running episodes) and the others are to be broadcast in a movie block, like in the Philippines which to be broadcast over ABS-CBN.

I'll be watching this again tonight, 8:00 PM on Cinema One. This time it's dubbed in Tagalog, so, I'm really excited. Ahihihi! Doesn't it show?

One funny thing that I noticed, though, was that the girl playing P'Nam kinda reminded me of our country's Kim Chiu while Mario, of course, reminded me of Gerald Anderson / Ivan Dorschner. Teehee!

Below are some screencaps from the film.

P'Nam friends were pointing her to P'Shone (Mario). GAWSH! So kilig! Swear.

I so remembered my high school days here. P'Nam and her friends were thinking about the guy they would marry when they grew up.

P'Shone giving P'Nam some mangoes, after falling down from a mango tree.

P'Nam feeling so kilig because of the mangoes. But, then....

P'Nam seeing P'Shone getting punished by his teacher. But, P'Shone just made "pa-cute" to P'Nam by doing this weird dance moves.

P'Shone kissing P'Nam in the latter's Snow White play. But, it was only a....

A few years later, P'Nam transformed into one fine woman. Here, P'Shone was taking photos of her while she was on a parade.

P'Shone almost telling P'Nam that he liked her. But, he's just so "torpe." It's because his friend also likes her, so, it's kinda a dilemma for him as well.

One of my favorite scenes. P'Shone telling P'Nam the story about a squid and how it met its true love. He also told her that there was this instance when he held a girl's hand very tightly and that was the only instance that he did that. Of course, that hand was....

Need I say more? "Ikaw na P'Shone. Ikaw na...." Teehee!

Below is the movie's official trailer.

Please watch, guys! I know we've seen this movie a number of times already. Let's do this Mario, shall we? Teehee!

Who is that "gay" I see staring straight back at me...?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

Must I pretend that I'm someone else for all time?

When will my reflection show...who I am inside?
