No wonder Markki looks so familiar! He was part of the Top 24 in the first season of Philippine Idol back in 2006. Well, that was, actually, the first and "only" season of the show. He was just 18 back then.
But Markki didn't push thru with the competition because his parents thought it was best for him to pursue his college education in Switzerland instead (and I believe that his parents really have done the right thing). Many were hoping that Markki would come back in Philippine Idol's next season but, obviously, there was no "second season."
And now...Markki joins Pilipinas Got Talent. And he's 22 years old now. All grown-up. A perfect hottie. Teehee!
I'm so excited to see more of Markki in the coming episodes of Pilipinas Got Talent. Let's watch out for more of him, alright?
And, of course, let's also support Jurgen Unterberg.
