You know how much of a Twilight die-hard fanatic I am, right?
You know how much I am willing to spend money on every Twilight stuff there is, right?
You know how vast my Twilight collection is, right?
You also do understand that everything that has something to do with Twilight is really very very very important to me, right?
And lastly...you know that Twilight is my happiness?
BUT FULLYBOOKED GREENBELT JUST DIDN'T UNDERSTAND ALL THOSE! All they care about was to make money...money...and more money! And to fool their customers about their promos!
You see...someone informed me that there was this New Moon collector's edition PEOPLE magazine in Fullybooked and that it was only for P499.00. So...the Twilight addict in me told me to head to Fullybooked ASAP as there were only 5 copies of the mag left.
And, can you also take note that whenever I get to find Twilight stuff in Fullybooked, I always blogged about them here? To share to other Twilight fans out there that...hey! Fullybooked has this and that.
So, I went there last Saturday afternoon after my work (yes, I went to work on a Saturday...I love my job, remember?). Initially, I was just supposed to buy that PEOPLE mag. But, I saw this amazing Twilight display right in front of the entrance and I was like...Hmmm...OK? I guess it wouldn't hurt much if I'd take one of this...two of that...and another one of that and that and that....
To cut the long story short, my total spending for that day went up to more than P3,000.00 instead of the initial P499.00. That's actually my normal Twilight spending for a month already. To think that I spent that much in just a day.
I went to the cashier and paid for my stuff. I showed my Ateneo alumni card so that I would be able to avail of a 5% discount. I used my HSBC card as well so that I could have an additional 5% discount (if ever). I even asked the cashier if the New Moon movie poster behind her was for sale. But she just giggled and told me that it wasn't.
After a while, I got my purchases already and I decided to check out the receipt before I leave so that I would be sure that everything was complete. I was surprised to see that I was only able to avail of the 5% Ateneo alumni discount, and not the HSBC card discount (to think that the cashier even gladly told me that I was gonna have a 5% discount because I'd be using an HSBC card). But I didn't care that much anymore. It would just mean an additional P150.00 or so savings anyway. What's important for me was all the Twilight stuff that I bought.
Sunday morning. I was browsing the net to check if there were any news about the New Moon advance screening in select cinemas on the 19th. And I was just so surprised to see that Fullybooked was having this promo that started last Friday or Thursday and that'll end on the 18th concerning that New Moon advance screening. I'm not gonna explain what's that promo about. Just search for it yourself. It's no use anyway. WHY? BECAUSE FREAKIN' FULLYBOOKED DOESN'T EVEN CARE TELLING THEIR CUSTOMERS ABOUT IT!
I was there already. Last Saturday. I bought a lot of New Moon stuff. I could've availed of their promo if anyone from FULLYBOOKED GREENBELT informed me about it. But none of them did. NONE OF THEM DID!
I called them up this morning to ask them if they still have tickets since I was able to buy New Moon stuff yesterday and I just wasn't informed about the promo. They told me that the last 2 tickets were already given to someone just a while ago (I don't wanna wish that someone some bad luck so please...help me). I told that customer service officer (who speaks bad English, by the way) that I wasn't informed of the promo and that they could've told me about it yesterday. I told her that I bought New Moon stuff yesterday (two New Moon mass paperbacks for P335.00 each even thought National Bookstore was selling it for only P295.00 each) and that they could've told me to buy some more New Moon collectibles so that I could've availed of their promo. BUT NO. THEY DIDN'T. None of them even bothered to inform me of THEIR FREAKIN' PROMO! I'm reacting like this because...because...I could've gotten my hands on those precious NEW MOON PREMIERE NIGHT TICKETS already! I was just that close to having those tickets and those freakin' people in that FREAKIN' FULLYBOOKED GREENBELT just weren't PROACTIVE enough to entice and inform their customers that they're having this promo and that maybe I would've wanted to buy this and that so that I could get those tickets...blah...blah...
GRRRRR!
I'm not rich, ok. BUT I HAVE THE MONEY! I HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND ON EVERY TWILIGHT STUFF THAT I WANNA BUY. Oh, gosh. I can't believe this!
Because of what happened...I'll never go to Fullybooked Greenbelt again.
I just couldn't believe this. What kinda customer service do those people in Fullybooked Greenbelt have?
