We were feeling a little lucky when we went to La Union last week. Initially, we thought that the bridge connecting Pangasinan to La Union was unavailable due to the recent catastrophe in the area. We also saw in TV how devastated that bridge was. But it was during that day that that bridge was temporarily opened to light vehicles. So, we didn't need to take an additional 2-3 hours of travel time anymore.

I just didn't like seeing some mountains that looked a little barren, with not much trees. It was also somewhat obvious that those mountains were being used as quarrying sites.

How time had flown so fast, indeed. When I was still young, I could still see nature's beauty whenever we went to La Union. But now, everything just changed. Almost drastically.
